The History of the Premier League
The history of the English league began in 1888. The first division has changed its name and form many times. The highest level of English football was renamed the Premier League in February 1992, following the agreement of 22 teams. Three years later, in 1995, the teams were reduced to 20, as is the case today.
The most popular league in the world is the English Premier League and it goes without saying that it is the favorite league of all bettors.
